Candy was admitted into pre-op at 10:30 today for a 2:30 surgery. It's 4pm and we are still waiting, should be soon though. I understand that her Oncologist has a reputation for being extremely thorough and appreciate that he is taking his time on the other patients as he will on my Mother. I will admit as his first surgery started at 7:30am, I am worried about fatigue and the staff's condition to perform a major surgery on my mother. It is a 4-6 hour surgery and 12 hours is a long time to be standing in an operating room.
